My name is Endre Gál, I'm an amateur photographer born in a beautiful town in Szeklerland, Transylvania, currently living in Bristol, UK.
I took my first photos when I was 11 years old, using my parents' camera, a Smena 8M - a russian full manual film camera. Later I tried out the Vilia, another russian film camera.
For a while I wasn't interested that much in taking photos (except the occasinal holiday snapshots) but in 2003 I bought my first digital camera and started to rediscover the magic of photography. In 2008 I bought a Canon digital SLR and since then photography became much more than a hobby, it became my passion.
I'm trying to explore the possibilities photography has to offer and I'm discovering new and exciting things each day - part of these discoveries you can see on this website. So enjoy, take a look at the photos and tell me your opinion, your critics, your suggestions - you are welcome to share your knowledge and experience. I really appreciate it.
